Dear Hiring Manager,
Ever since I can remember, I have dreamed of working for the United Nations. a symbol of hope and collaboration that strives to make the world a better place. Growing up in Nepal and raised in Belgium, my diverse background has shaped my understanding of the challenges faced by individuals and communities across cultures, igniting my passion for advocating for those who often feel unheard. I believe that communication is a powerful tool for change. As a communication specialist, I want to be the person who helps tell important stories—stories of resilience, hope, and the human spirit. I want to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds and ensure that their voices resonate on a global stage.
As a front office agent, I developed strong communication skills while interacting with people from various backgrounds. This experience reinforced my belief in the importance of effective communication in fostering understanding and connection. Currently, as an International Communication and Media student, I am deepening my knowledge of how to convey messages across cultures, which I believe is essential for a role at the UN. My internship at BASF, one of the largest chemical companies in the world, has further enhanced my skills in digital media and outreach. Here, I’ve learned how to craft compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences. I am particularly excited about the opportunity to harness this experience to amplify important stories on a global stage. I also have a deep passion for traveling and immersing myself in new cultures. Each journey has broadened my perspective and strengthened my commitment to promoting inclusivity and understanding.
